Under the leadership of Dr. Gilberte Bastien at the Morehouse School of Medicine, and together with colleagues at Emory University, and the University of North Carolina–Charlotte, we determined the readiness of Haitian-Creole churches to implement mental health interventions. We built a better understanding of the factors and supports that can facilitate health and wellness in (a specific) immigrant population.
